Work Permit

Students who are under the age of 16 may be required to complete a workers permit for employment.

Please download the Certificate to Employ, choose school year employment or summer employment,  and fill out accordingly. The work permit is divided into three sections:

  • Section A needs to be completed by the student and needs to have a parent/guardian signature.
  • Section B needs to be completed by the Employer.

Once Section A and Section B are completed forms can be returned to the designated school representative in the guidance office.  Section C will be completed by the school and sent to the Division of Labor Standards Office in Jefferson City and returned to you to provide to the employer.  

During the summer, please call 314-467-7107 To ensure the registrar is in the office the day you would like to bring the forms in.
