The Air Force is the world’s largest community college, comprised of more than 100 affiliated schools that support 68 associate in applied science degree programs serving more than 300,000 students across the globe. Coursework for our students blends traditional academic courses transferred from local colleges with highly specialized Air Force technical training and professional leadership education. We are also proud to state that our large, worldwide system shares in Air University’s regional accreditation by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, Commission on Colleges. The CCAF therefore provides highly respected degree programs for our entire enlisted force. Everyone who we enlist is automatically enrolled in the Community College of the Air Force upon swearing in.
